Job Overview:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for handling goods, ensuring efficient storage, and supporting warehouse operations to meet business needs. Attention to detail is crucial, as accuracy in order picking, stock management, and quality control helps maintain our high standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Sorting and organising stock in the warehouse
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if trained)
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
- Following detailed instructions and ensuring precise record-keeping
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
- Forklift license (desirable but not required)
